The Aberdeen, S.D., City Council is considering “animal ordinance changes” which may include a pit bull ban. This is scheduled for Monday, Feb. 28, at 5:30 p.m. in the courthouse. Unfortunately, the agenda is not specific. So here is a pit bull who needs a home. And, National Spay Day was last Tuesday, Feb. 22. While puppies and kittens are cute, there are too many unwanted pets in the world. Responsible owners, spay or neuter their pets.

What ever happened to last weeks court day? Did it get thrown out? I told my friend about it, and she told her mom who is very active with pit bull rescue and placements around the U.S. Then we went to your blog and took that test. She got the right answer on the first try.
They’ve changed the date a couple of times now. And last week, their meeting was canceled. I’d been hoping it would just quietly go away, but it seems that is not the case. I’ll update my blog as soon as I know for sure what this proposed animal ordinance entails. A little bit of education would go a long way in this case.

They can’t ban pit bulls. People love their pit bulls too much. I love mine. Her name is “Trouble” and she is 11 years old. She is an award winning dog (Frisbee toss and costume contest at the local crawfish festival). I just found this great site with some wonder pit bull pics on it: http://saveabull.com/2008/pit-bulls-in-time/
Take care,
